At MJM Design Group it is our mission to bring beauty to your home through our designs. We work hard and listen to your needs. We cater to every style from contemporary to traditional but whatever the style the finished design will seem timeless. Our mission is to make your home functional and stylish but uniquely yours. We do not do trendy but rather strive for a timeless design that you'll love and be able to live with for many years.

Who We Are

MJM Design Group is owned and operated by Michael J. Moore, the principle and senior designer. Michael Moore has had over 35 years experience designing one of a kind interiors to fit every lifestyle.

Here is a list of the publications in which either MJM Design Group or owner Michael Moore have been featured for our design work or insight.

September 2009

MJM Design Group's studio home was featured on the Finding Solutions House Walk to benefit the Kenneth Young Center on September 12th. Michael's home was one of 10 featured on the tour. The event was a huge success and they were able to raise even more money then they thought possible.

About the Owner:

Michael has had a design degree in Interior Design since 1976. He has also studied interior design and architecture abroad as an exchange student in Europe.

Michael is also a registered interior designer with the State of Illinois.

He is a member of ASID and has sat on the board of Harper College to help further the education of students for over 15 years.

Michael's works have been featured in both local and nation wide publications throughout his career.

He has also participated with various charitable organizations throughout the years designing rooms for local charities. Michael has designed spectacular rooms for both the American Lung Association and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago for their charity galas.

This talent has lead to a successful design and party planning service which is offered in addition by MJM Design Group.
